Fetter Feet

What are Fetter Feet?

These are NOT Fetter Feet.

These WERE Fetter Feet once upon a time.

Fetter is our maiden name.  We come from a big family, and we all have feet. I mean we have rather big feet. And yes, even when we were babies we had big feet.  And we are proud of our big feet.  Proud that we can’t just go anywhere to buy shoes. These big feet come from our dad’s side of the family, thus, Fetter Feet. But relax. We are not going to write volumes about the size of our feet. No, we’re going to write about all the things our feet do for us.  They take us places like traveling to new cities or camping and hiking in the outdoors. Like playing our favorite sports. Cornhole, anyone?  Our feet help us keep upright when we’ve strayed a little off life’s straight and narrow… how is that any fun, anyway? And we will talk about some of Fetter Feet’s favorite shoes. Hey, we are trying to make a living here…

We don’t just like laughing at our big feet.  We like having fun, we like laughing, we like to party. We love music and many of us play instruments, like piano and guitar and recorder. And all of us play kazoo.  And when no instruments are handy, we sing.  Half of us love to sing. The other half beg us to shut up so they can watch football or baseball or hockey or soccer, or golf or the Olympics. And then the cameras come out and among the pictures are the pictures of Fetter Feet.

So, this is the blog where we share the fun stuff. Boom Whacker Concerts; Star Gazing; Corn Hole Tournaments, along with our successes and failures. But we will be laughing. Even after we cry sometimes, someone will say “Oh, don’t take yourself so damn seriously.” And we will laugh again.

So, check back often to see what’s up with us.
